The Most Real Looking Arm With Simulation Muscle And Movements

There's a video on YouTube that shows the most real or life-like should I say, looking human arm with robotic muscles and bones that looks and moves like the real thing.

At first, I thought there was no way that thing is real it's got to be a CGI rendering or something else entirely like a real arm with a rubber-like skin over the top.

A very real looking robotic arm with artificial muscles.

I don't know what I thought, to be honest with you but I know that I didn't like it for being a real artificial arm.

Video

But it is, it's a direct translation of a human arm if that's the right way to describe it or not but to be honest I don't care because it's spot on. A direct translation, I like that so it's in.

Have you ever seen an artificial arm that moves like a human arm? Well, I just came across a video of one and it's mind-blowing! The arm has simulated muscles and fingers that imitate the human fingers' range of movement perfectly. It's so extra perfect and spot on that it got me thinking, could someone create a full human body using this method and technology?

The video is 3 years old, so I did some digging to find out what the inventor is up to now. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any recent updates on the project just more videos of an arm. However, I believe that if this technology can be applied to a full human body, it could revolutionize the medical industry. Imagine being able to create a new body for someone who has lost a limb or has a debilitating disease.

Video description

I made this robotic arm in garage and it is a copy of real one I experienced in dissecting room. I want to use it as prosthesis arm and as a part of humanoid robot. It is based on redesigned human skeleton bones - I used hinges instead of ligaments. By using artificial muscles I achieved soft tissued - natural looking structure of the forearm. I will be covered with skin. It is powered by water pressure pump 0,7MPa and electro-valves.

Overall, I'm excited about the possibilities of this technology and can't wait to see what the future holds. Who knows, maybe one day we'll all have the option to upgrade our bodies with artificial parts that work just as well, if not better, than our natural ones.

We might have integrated exoskeletons and the ability to choose from different modes or abilities as if it was like a new pair of sneakers.

Conclusion

The possibilities are endless, exoskeletons are around they've been used in the military on a limited scale which I believe it was for moving heavy objects with ease.

Bringing all the cutting edge technology and the most sophisticated technology around with the most extraordinary abilities that can be put together in radical new ways would be on a par with what we'd expect from this type of technology. Whoever takes on this role as the leader in this type of tech would have to be more than a visionary. More than Elon Musk's abilities which would have to be extraordinary.

If you've got anything you'd like to add to this please share it with us in the comments section below, cheers. And please don't forget to share this post, thanks.
