Another Sphinx Discovered In Pakistan And A Statue Next To It | Amazing Discovery

As far as discoveries go, the Balochistan Sphinx is arguably one of the most contentious. It challenges our understanding of 'prehistory' and, if ancient accounts are ignored, it challenges much else besides. But, despite all of that, it should still be looked at without bias or prejudice because there can be no denying that this structure looks remarkably like an uncannily familiar object that sits around 6,500 miles away in Egypt.

This bizarre rocky outcrop is not the only one resembling a man-made structure in the park, as another unusual statue-looking feature called the 'Princess of Hope' (see image below) stands tall nearby. Of course, both features continue to be explained away as nothing but natural formations 'carved by wind and rain' , but could there be more to it than that?

The Sphinx of Pakistan and the Sphinx of Egypt have a lot in common. Both are located on civilisations which hailed from ancient Nile Valley and both stone statues have similar traits, which has led to some experts believing both creatures could be carved from the same civilization.

Just like the Sphinx at Giza, the Pakistani formation appears to include a head-dress similar to the Nemes head-dress worn by the ancient Pharaohs, with its striped markings on a cloth which covers the crown and the back of the head of its wearer. The flaps hanging down near the ears are also clearly visible on the Balochistan Sphinx, whilst the horizontal groove resembling the pharaonic headband can be seen adorning the forehead.

While the Sphinx of Giza was always believed to be a personification of the Pharaoh Khafra and his likeness, the Sphinx of Balochistan might have been modelled after an entirely different historical personality. Although, what matters most is not who it represents in terms of human history – but that its discovery confirms that there was a time when ancient civilizations were all connected, thus encouraging us to always look outward when seeking answers.

This new discovery could throw light on how the traditions and customs of ancient cultures were transmitted to nations faraway in the ancient world, possibly even making this new Sphinx older than its Egyptian counterpart. Furthermore, it would affirm the vastness of a cultural heritage which has time and again shown that it was far more advanced than currently believed by researchers. Something which researchers may want to take into account when interpreting the history of 'civilisation'.

The Balochistan Sphinx represents more than a mere stupendous spectacle, but also a treasure trove of information on the ancient people who marked the region around 9000 BC. A study of this site will reveal more clues in an attempt to unlock the mystery behind not only its – and by extension our own – identity, but also that of all the other megalithic sites found across South Asia and beyond.

This recent discovery in Pakistan, and the careful scrutiny of the Giza Plateau itself, may prove crucial to unlocking many mysteries which have remained concealed there for so long. If the Sphinx of Giza is indeed thousands of years older than is currently accepted, then did it and other associated structures predate humanity? Which culture built them, and why was the area buried beneath a rock-hewn mountain? In an attempt to uncover these unknowns, there continues to be much further research being conducted both at Giza on a physical level, whilst historical analysis opens up new avenues of investigation.

But there is clearly more to Balochistan than meets the eye, or than is so far being "officially admitted." It is clear that the history of Pakistan extends much further back than is being proclaimed, and that during the last ice age, before the last great flood, flooded it all away, a civilisation flourished here which had reached a very high level in both science and spiritual development. It stands to reason with the recent discoveries and it's only time and further investigation that will reveal all.
